Digital Literacy Initiative In India
MOOC (massive open online courses) have been used to make local students creatively savvy in Talasari and Ambad in Maharashtra, India, under the pilot National University Students’ Skills Development programme.
Gnowledge Lab, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, are designing and deploying the digital literacy course as well as developing the platform to deliver it.
