The Cheran College of Engineering is the part of ?Cheran Educational Trust, Karur? and is debut in the academic year 2012-2013 with total intake of 300. It is approved by AICTE NEWDELHI and affiliated to ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI. Our college is located in Karur - Coimbatore National Highway (NH- 67) at Cheran Nagar, K.Paramathi, Karur - 639111. We currently offer 4 year B.E degree programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering.
The institution has the ambience for good teaching and practical trainings to attract best students from in and around TamilNadu. We are aware that education is not only the knowledge of subjects but it is a development of character building, innovative imagination, the power of visioning the future and decision making. The qualified and experienced faculty squad of Cheran College of Engineering endeavor to improve such efficiency in each student given to them. It is always said behind every work there is a good thought and our thought being one generation sows and the next generation reaps.
Cheran College of Engineering is ready to work hard towards the all-round development of students to make them complete men and talented professionals.Our laboratories are installed with all the necessary and latest equipments which suit the needs of Engineering curriculum and thereby it enhances the analytical aptitude of an Engineering student.
Classrooms are spacious and airy. Separate tutorial rooms are available for tutorial classes. We have separate common rooms for boys and girls.Our library has adequate collection of books and journals in both print and electronic media which serves the academic needs of our students. It is computerized and has on-line access catalogue for the benefits of the users.
We also provide with two way transportation to prominent locations in and around Karur district.Hostel facilities also available for boys and girls separately.We provide them with excellent facilities for indoor games as well as outdoor games and sports activities are managed by a well experienced physical director.
