About College
At a time when education remained an unfulfilled dream for the people in rural area, M.E.T Engineering College was started under the able guidance of Er. P. Mohamed Eakieem, Chairman of the Trust and Mrs. Lyla Beevi, Trustee, with a view to achieve appreciable growth in the field of Engineering and Technology and to construct a Research and Development Centre which is useful for the society and for the nation as a whole.
The institution's philosophy is to educate the rural people in particular and others in general, to uplift the community and encourage the people to attain hundred percent literacy in India. M.E.T.E.C aims at disseminating knowledge in the fields of science, engineering and technology to the student community.
The Institute strives to inculcate a sound knowledge in Engineering along with realised social responsibilities to enable its students to combat the current and impending challenges faced by our country and to extend their expertise to the global arena. M.E.T. Engineering College is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education(AICTE). It offers undergraduate course on various discipline in engineering. M.E.T Engineering College was inaugurated by the resounding academician of Internationally acclaimed Dr.G.Viswanathan M.A.,B.L., Chancellor of VIT University , Vellore.
