About College
This college has been established by Rev.Fr.A.E.Arul Raj OMI and managed by DMI Sisters. This is approved by the Government of Tamilnadu and recognized by AICTE, affiliated to Anna University. DMI is known for its time-honorable tradition of imparting quality education to the society and rendering social service without discrimination.
The college is situated in a beautiful place at Elupatti in Thanjavur District (Tamilnadu). St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology is spaced out in a campus of 15 acres of land, It is located in a serene atmosphere at Elupatti Village, Thanjavur Taluk. Our vast campus houses the faculties of all departments of Engineering, state-of-the-art labs and large playgrounds.

The mission of St.Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology is to sustain a community of individuals who are dedicated to the achievement of excellence and who share a vision related to Engineering and Management. Each course adopts a comprehensive and unified approach calling for rigorous study in a variety of fields both within the discipline and other related areas. Thus the student is prepared with a thorough understanding of science and technology related to his/her discipline with its implications.
