About College
The Ponnaiyah Ramajayam College of Engineering & Technology, shortly PRCET was started in the year 2006 with four major branches viz., CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Engineering. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University. Full enrolment in the very first branch under Single Window system (SWS) of engineering admissions in Tamilnadu. Will offer additional courses of B.E in Marine Engineering and MCA with effect from 2008-2009.
Provides extraordinary transport facilities to both staff and students from vantage points in and around Thanjavur. Organizing Department Association functions, Invited Guest Lectures, Seminars, workshops, etc., for the benefit of student community. Frequent Industry-Institute interaction and industrial visits organized. Will go for ISO 9001 certification shortly. Provides scholarship for outstanding performers and rewards to teachers.
