About College
Star Lion College of Engineering & Technology (SLCET) was established in the year 2010 by Srimathi Renganayaki and Sri Sriramulu Educational and Public Charitable Trust for promoting higher education in the remote districts of Southern Tamilnadu. We are 36 years in education by running Matriculation school, College of Education (B.Ed), Teacher Training (D.T.Ed). SLCET is approved by AICTE, New Delhi (SRO 2010-1-6588841 dated 2 Aug 2010) and is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
It is situated on tanjavur - kumbakonam state high way and is located 10 kms from Tanjavur old bus stand. The college is situated in 30 acres area of full of green. It is functioning in the buildup area of 1, 23,000 square feet. Salient Features Campus located on the state highway between Thanjavur and Kumbakonam. 2 Mbps internet bandwidth with 1:1 Contention ratio Wi-Fi facility Well equipped library Large collection of CD's, Video and Audio Cassette tapes. English Language laboratory.
