About College
Professional Group of Institutions has primary objective of providing value added higher education by establishing nodal centers with updated technological facilities.Professional Group of Institutions are managed and run by Professional Educational Trust. The Management under the chairmanship of former Registrar and Vice-Chancellor of well renowned universities is looking after the affairsof the Trust and Institutions.
The Trust is founded and run by top level Academic Administrators, high profile Academicians and leading Industrialists. The motto of the Institution is to impart value added technical component in the existing field of technology and management. The institution encompasses within itself three schools namely, School of Engineering, School of Management and School of Computer Applications.
Each school is headed by a Dean and supported by well qualified faculty members and Lab Technicians. Each School has well equipped labs to support the University curriculum. The class rooms are supported by Audio- Video equipments for the effective delivery. The needs of outstation students are taken care of by two separate Hostels (Hall of Residence) for men and women and mess facility. To keep up with the interests of the students in their physical fitness there are outdoor and indoor game facilities which are taken care by the Physical Director.
The students are given coaching for various inter and intra collegiate competitions. In realising the responsibility towards society, various club activities (anti-drug, ecoclub) are in place. To inculcate and nurture the individual's creativity, since the year of inception, motivational movies are being shown in addition to science club activities. Central Library is one such place in the campus which has in its stack much more than the stipulated number of books and also provides facility for digital contents through digital library. Separate spacious and modern Hall of Residence for men and women are provided on campus in a shortest period.
The Residence is highly conducive for academic pursuit and happy living. The Blocks are equipped with all basic amenities and 6 mbps (1:1) leased line internet connectivity. The Institution offers free training / coaching for all the Civil Service aspirants of the institution in association with Manithaneya Arakkatalai of Chennai.
