About College
Shenthil Velevan Charitable Trust has been started in the year 2008 by four devoted philanthropists with a motive of taking higher education to the village and rural people at all levels of economic platform. Being involved in managing successful business establishments for more than two decades, the members decided to develop the trust with a non profit motive by donating their own hard earned money.
As a token of instigation for its humanitarian activities, the trust has decided to start a technical institution to serve the needy rural people in the outskirts of Tirupur, where the number of technical institutions is much less than that of nearby districts.
The trust has invested profusely on developing the infrastructure such as buildings, laboratories, hostels and necessary amenities beyond the requirements of the University and AICTE. Apart from the promoted technical institution, the trust engages itself in providing free education to the poor and needy students by the way of sponsoring tuition fee.
