Thirumathi Kannamal Education Trust was founded in the year 1985 with the main objective of fostering Higher Education in Tamil Nadu. With this objective, the SBCEC has been established has one among the chain of colleges by the trust. Sri Balaji Chockalingam Engineering College, founded in the year 1999, affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE (Approval No. 732-52-063 (NDEG) / ET / 99, dated 24.08.99), (Accredited by NBA).
The college is located in a sprawling campus of 32 acres on the Arni - Arcot - Chennai Highway in a calm and serene atmosphere, 3km. outside the Din & Bustle of the silk city Arni, Thiruvanamalai Dt. with a classroom & Lab occupying more than 1,00,000 sp. ft. A place ideally suited for intense and academic pursuit. MISSION: The management encrouges student to follow a strict disciplined approach in their training program to enable them to acquire the latest Theoritical & Practical knowledge and become full-fledged engineers in their respective fields.
