Certifications
TEC is very consciouws towards developing good quality students who will be an asset to the corporate world and the nation. To achieve the same we have gone for ISO certification and NBA accreditation. TEC is a ISO 9001 : 2000 Certified institution for its quality education. TEC has also got the NBA accreditation for three of its courses viz., CSE, ECE and Mechanical.
Tagore Engineering College is idealy located in a spacious area at Rathinamangalam, Vandalur, Chennai - 600 048. It is on the well-laid Tiruporur road which branches off at Vandalur zoo and is 5 km from the GST Road. It is situated 11 km from Tambaram Railway Station, 7 kms from Camp Road and is 20 kms from Airport (Chennai).
This year we are going in for NBA accreditation for the rest of the courses. Our journey does not stop there. We are looking for more stringent quality standard- certification programmes and would like to create our own benchmark as far as quality education and infrastructure is concerned.
