About College
Mailam Engineering College, a self-financing institution was established in 1998, in Villupuram district, with ISO 9001-2000 Certification. The college is approved by AICITE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. The college offers five under graduate courses and three post graduate courses. The college is built in a sprawling campus of 42- acres, with a blend of beautiful green landscaping and aesthetical elegance, situated adjacent to the Sri Subramania Swamy Koil, Mailam and Sri Vakkarakali Amman koil, Thiruvakkarai, which provide the campus a tranquil and pleasant atmosphere for the pursuit of technical education.
Mailam Engineering College is one of the top engineering college in Villupuram district. A well organized Placement & Training cell, headed by a full time placement & training officer. Faculty Coordinators and student representatives from each department associatively function as a single team. PAT cell arranges interviews for the final year students and training for all the students.The Placement and Training cell is doing excellent service to the aspiring students by providing them an oppurtunity to get recruited in prestigious corporates,through campus placement program.In addition to on campus recruitment program we help our students by arranging Off-Campus Interview too.
