
If you’ve ever used Facebook, you’ve probably been annoyed by your notifications filled with candy crush requests that you wish you could just flush down the toilet.
In his latest meet and greet Townhall Q&A at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in New Delhi, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was presented with a question that has bugged users minds for a long, long time.
The top-rated comment, with 7,500 likes:
-“I don’t want any more invitations to Candy Crush. How can I stop it?”
Cheers and applause echoed through the hall demonstrating just how much the requests of the were disliked.
The 31-year-old CEO replied saying, “We hadn’t prioritized shutting that down, we just had other priorities. But if this is the top thing that people care about, we’ll prioritise that and do it,” which was followed by applause.
The chairman and the chief executive of Facebook added, “So I sent a message to the person who runs the team in charge of our developer platform and I said by the time I do this Town Hall Q&A, I think it would be good if we had a solution to this problem.”
