About College
Coimbatore is a private Engineering College started in 1984 under the auspices of Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation, a charitable educational trust of Sakthi Group. About 10 kms from Central Bus Stand at Gandhipuram and 2 Kms off Sathy Road (national highway NH-209 leading to Mysore), the well-developed college campus spreads over a sprawling 150 acres of land. Under the able guidance and patronage of Arutselvar Dr. N. Mahalingam, Chairman, Sakthi Group and with the able administration of Dr.B.K.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Co - Chairman and Sri. M.Balasubramaniam, Correspondent, the college has developed excellent facilities and resources such as spacious classrooms, seminar halls, well-equipped laboratories, workshops, well-stocked libraries, dedicated highspeed broadband Internet connectivity and well-qualified faculty.
Five Academic Blocks house the different departments. The administrative building "Dr.Mahalingam Vigyan Bhavan" is an architectural beauty and a land mark in Coimbatore. The management has invested more than Rs. 800 million for the creation of state of the art infrastructural facilities. Currently the college as an Autonomous institution affiliated to the Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore offers 13 under-graduate (B.E., B.Tech.) and 13 post-graduate (M.E., M.Tech., MCA, MBA) programs of study.
